DUREK

Durek surfaced, splashing, and choking. He’d had no time to catch his breath before the ropes gave way. Even hearing the four explosive cracks hadn’t been enough warning.

He had underestimated her.

“Karnin Dawn Chayse!” He roared after evacuating the last of the water from his lungs. Using her full terran name would let her know he was angry.

His Eloh’ami poked her head above the water—across the pool. Wise.

A smug smile road her lips. “You should have seen your face. It was priceless.” She giggled, a rare sound from her.

His mate was amused.

“Fasten that image in your mind, beloved Eloh’ami. My hunt begins now.” He sank underwater, invigorated by the heat that soaked into his sore body. His wrists and ankles ached from the binds. He had been strung up like a stuffed victa, ready for the carving. She would pay for that.

With powerful strokes, he cut through the water in her direction. He spied roiling bubbles and kicking heels ahead. She scrambled to get out of the pool before he could reach her. Silly Terran.

Just has she lunged for the rocks, he grabbed her leg and held fast. Her watery screams sharpened as his ear slits exchanged fluid for air. Rising from the pool, he plucked her thrashing and held her aloft.

She quieted immediately. Prey resolved to her fate.

“You are a clever racx, but I am ready to claim my prize.” He set her down, tugging her back against his body.

“Do your worst, Nisroc.” She shoved into him, squeezing his erect sawz between them.

“Tempting Terran.” He found her humor entertaining. “You put a commendable effort into your trap.”

“I did.” She wiggled, continuing to rub her wet and enticing body against him. “It took months to plan. To order the right equipment.”

Gripping her arm with one hand, he reached the other to cup her breast. She gasped. Her mammaries were sensitive from feeding their son. They smelled ripe and hung heavy with fresh milk.

“Zeris.” A plea.

Falling on deaf ear slits. He squeezed her pink globe. A jet of milk shot from her nipple and sprinkled over the rock before them.

“Zeris!” This time a cry.

“You milked me. It is only just that I should milk you.” He fondled both breasts with skilled palms, careful with his claws.

Pinching her nipples produced twin spurts. She whimpered.

He could imagine her face shading a deeper crimson, just as it always did when he tasted her milk. It embarrassed her for some reason. If her milk were good enough for their son, it was good enough for him. Although, he merely sampled from her ample teats—ur, breasts; she hated when he called them teats—refusing to rob his child of his only source of nourishment. Even if Karnin produced so much that she kept it in containers in the electric box she called a fridge.

“Besides, we won’t make it home before you spill.” He recalled several times where her delectable milk had leaked through her clothing. Too slow to reach Narek. Too slow to pump. Such a waste.

“Th-this is your revenge?” She panted.
